Parallel Globe is a political platform designed to strengthen political awareness and encourage meaningful political dialogue. It offers a space where people can exchange ideas, deepen their understanding of politics, and engage in serious, constructive discussion.
Parallel Globe Ltd is the owner and operator of the platform.
Parallel Globe brings together Political Voices, Organisations, and Parallel Citizens. Political Voices include politicians, activists, government officials, policy experts, political analysts, journalists, media professionals, and civil society representatives. Organisations include political parties, government institutions, NGOs, media organisations, and think tanks. Alongside them, engaged citizens contribute to a broader and more inclusive political dialogue.
Unlike conventional social networks, Parallel Globe is not built around entertainment or visual distraction. Its purpose is to create a space dedicated to thoughtful, text-based political exchange. It prioritises clarity, depth, and respect — allowing political dialogue to develop without distortion or trivialisation.
By connecting Verified Users and citizens within structured Country Spaces, Parallel Globe strengthens political literacy, encourages accountability, and supports democratic culture.
1. User Categories
Parallel Globe is built around three distinct categories of participants to preserve credibility, transparency, and trust.
Political Voice
Political Voices are verified individuals whose professional role or public activity contributes directly to political life or political debate. Verification ensures authenticity and protects the integrity of political discussion on the platform.
Political Voices include politicians, activists, government officials, policy experts, political analysts, journalists, media professionals, and civil society representatives.
Organisation
Organisations are verified institutional entities involved in political, governmental, media, research, or civic activity. These include political parties, government institutions, NGOs, media organisations, and think tanks.
Parallel Citizen
Parallel Citizens are individuals who participate in political discussion in a personal capacity. They contribute to political dialogue, follow developments, and take part in polls, without representing institutions or holding verified public roles.
2. Core Features
PoliticTalk
PoliticTalk rooms are dedicated spaces for credible public dialogue on political and civic matters.
Only Verified Users — Political Voices and Organisations — can create and host PoliticTalk rooms, ensuring that discussions are anchored by authenticated public actors.
Participation is open to all users. Parallel Citizens join as listeners. The host controls speaking access and may invite or grant speaking rights to any participant.
These rooms allow direct engagement between public actors and citizens in a controlled and respectful environment.
CipherCall
CipherCall enables private, secure communication between users. It is available to Political Voices, Organisations, and Parallel Citizens.
All conversations are protected by end-to-end encryption. Parallel Globe does not record conversations and cannot access, intercept, or decrypt their content.
Opinion Polls
Opinion Polls enable Verified Users to gather public opinion in a credible and structured way.
Only Verified Users can create Opinion Polls, ensuring that polls originate from authentic and accountable actors. Participation is open to all users, allowing public opinion to be expressed whilst preserving the integrity of the process.
Country Spaces
Parallel Globe is organised around Country Spaces — distinct environments where discussions, Opinion Polls, and PoliticTalk rooms reflect the political reality of each country.
At registration, users select their Home Country Space, which defines their primary environment and publishing context. This ensures that discussions remain relevant to the institutions, actors, and conditions of each society.
Parallel Globe aims to launch first in countries where political dialogue faces the greatest restrictions and where citizens and institutions most need secure environments to exchange ideas. The platform will then expand gradually, establishing Country Spaces adapted to each national political context.
3. Our Vision
Parallel Globe exists to establish secure, structured political environments where political awareness and democratic engagement can develop through informed, serious, and protected dialogue.
Politics should not be reduced to spectacle, emotional manipulation, or algorithmic amplification. It must remain a domain where ideas are examined critically, arguments refined, and understanding deepened.
Parallel Globe connects Political Voices, Organisations, and citizens within secure Country Spaces designed to protect dialogue, ensure authenticity, and encourage responsible participation.
By prioritising substance over spectacle and security over exposure, Parallel Globe seeks to restore trust in political exchange and strengthen democratic resilience within each Country Space.
